About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Executive to support HR operations for our US workforce. The ideal candidate will assist with US onboarding, employee documentation, HR compliance, and employee engagement, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end US onboarding process for new employees and consultants.
- Coordinate with candidates to collect all required onboarding documents.
- Verify and maintain employee documents, including SSN, Driver's License, Passport, Visa, I-9 documents, I-94, EAD, OPT/STEM OPT, H-1B, and Green Card documentation, as applicable.
- Prepare and process onboarding documents, employment verification letters, and other HR-related documents.
- Ensure onboarding compliance with company policies and client requirements.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases with accurate information.
- Coordinate background verification and document validation.
- Track employee attendance, leave, and timesheets.
- Support payroll inputs and HR administration.
- Respond to employee HR-related queries in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with Recruitment, Finance, Payroll, and Operations teams.
- Prepare HR reports and maintain HR documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2years of HR experience
- Knowledge of the US onboarding process and HR documentation.
- Good understanding of US visa categories, including OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, H-1B, H-1B Transfer, EAD, Green Card (GC), and US Citizens.
- Basic knowledge of US employment types such as W2, C2C, and 1099.
- Familiarity with onboarding documents such as I-9, I-94, SSN, Driver's License, Passport, and Employment Authorization documents.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Willingness to work in the US Night Shift.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with HRMS/HRIS tools.
- Knowledge of US HR compliance and employee onboarding.
- Strong interpersonal, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
