Senior Estimation Engineer – Fire Fighting IndustryJob Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Estimation Engineer to join our Fire Fighting Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, reviewing tender documents, and supporting the business development team in securing profitable projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, BOQs, drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and techno-commercial proposals for Fire Fighting Systems.
- Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and project specifications.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
- Prepare budgetary estimates, rate analysis, and project costing.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and project execution teams for technical inputs.
- Identify project risks and opportunities during the tendering stage.
- Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client discussions whenever required.
- Ensure compliance with NBC, NFPA, TAC, and relevant fire safety standards.
- Prepare value engineering proposals to optimize project costs.
- Maintain estimation records, cost databases, and tender documentation.
- Support management in bid strategy, pricing decisions, and project handovers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Estimation within the Fire Fighting Industry.
- Strong knowledge of Fire Hydrant Systems, Sprinkler Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Gas Suppression Systems, and Fire Protection Standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and estimation software.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.

Salary
- No Salary Bar for Deserving Candidates
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
