Program Management & Coordination:
1. Planning & Execution:
o Plan, conduct, and review all aspects of the livelihood training activities of APD, in conjunction with the Deputy Director of Livelihood.
o Coordinate training programs at various APD campuses (Anand ashram & Kyalasanahalli ) and in district locations and RSOs as needed.
o Ensure recruitment and staff support for the execution of livelihood training programs.
2. Team Leadership:
o Guide, manage, support, and motivate team leaders and staff to ensure effective and efficient execution of programs.
o Address and resolve any staff issues with sensitivity and confidentiality.
3. Training Material Development:
o Oversee the development of training manuals, communication materials, and program materials in consultation with specialists to enhance the quality and consistency of training programs.
4. Staff Training & Development:
o Identify staff training needs and work with the HR department to fulfill these requirements through both internal and external training support.
o Develop innovative training methods to continually improve the quality of institutional training programs to ensure inclusivity for all categories of disabilities.
5. Volunteer & Advisory Panel Coordination:
o Coordinate with volunteers and advisory panel members to meet program goals and ensure required support is provided.
Collaboration & Advocacy:
6. External Collaboration:
o Network and collaborate with training canters, employers, entrepreneurs, NGOs, professionals, and corporate organizations for the growth and sustainability of livelihood programs.
o Lobby and advocate with the government and other groups to ensure the right to livelihood for young people with disabilities.
7. Proposal & Donor Management:
o Support the drawing up of proposals and work with the donor assurance and marketing team for funding and donor reports related to livelihood programs.
8. Program Evaluation & Improvement:
o Recommend program additions or changes based on necessity and program viability.
o Monitor the effectiveness of programs and adjust strategies to reach a wider group of individuals with disabilities.
9. Marketing & Communication:
o Collaborate with the marketing department to develop communication materials related to livelihood training and resource mobilization.
o Support recruitment and placement efforts related to livelihood programs.
Reporting & Compliance:
10. Progress Reporting:
o Ensure the timely completion of all agreed programs and submission of quarterly and yearly progress reports, as well as cost requirements, to the CEO – APD
11. Quality & Sensitivity:
o Prioritize enhancing the quality of care and support for persons with disabilities while maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity in all dealings.
12. Compliance & Documentation:
o Ensure all paperwork and documentation related to ITC are met within timelines as per government requirements and coordinate with the government interface for support.
13. Representation:
o Represent APD in various forums as required and undertake any unstructured tasks to meet APD's overall goals, in consultation with senior management.
14. Resource Mobilization:
o Develop and execute a local resource mobilization plan with reference to training programs, in collaboration with the Deputy Director of Livelihood and the marketing department.
