- Greeting and Seating: Providing a warm welcome, escorting guests to their tables, presenting menus, and introducing the server.
- Reservation Management: Handling phone/online reservations, managing walk-ins, and providing accurate wait times during busy periods.
- Table Rotation: Strategically assigning seating to ensure a steady, fair flow of customers for servers.
- Customer Service & Flow: Managing the lobby, addressing guest complaints or needs, and sometimes assisting with cleaning, taking to-go orders, or assisting staff during rushes.
