Job Summary
We are looking for a Merchandiser with 1–3 years of experience in the garment/fashion industry who understands women’s ethnic wear and has a strong sense of product trends, customer preferences, and sales performance.
The candidate will be responsible for managing product requirements, coordinating with different teams, tracking product performance, and ensuring the right products are available at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
- Study market trends, customer preferences, and competitor products to identify new opportunities.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Design, Production, Inventory, and Sales teams for smooth product movement.
- Assist in planning and maintaining the right product mix and assortment.
- Track fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving products and suggest suitable actions.
- Monitor product availability and coordinate for timely replenishment.
- Maintain product information, pricing, stock details, and merchandising reports.
- Support new collection launches and seasonal product planning.
- Review sales performance and identify products with strong or weak demand.
- Ensure proper coordination for product samples, approvals, and final product availability.
- Keep updated with new designs, fabrics, colours, patterns, and ethnic-wear trends.
Skills & Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in women’s ethnic wear or garments.
- Good understanding of fashion trends, ethnic-wear products, and customer demand.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic reporting.
- Ability to analyze sales and stock data.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good team player with a proactive and result-oriented approach.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
