Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated Server Administrator Intern to join our team. The candidate should have basic knowledge of Linux systems, server administration, networking fundamentals, and web hosting. The intern will assist in managing servers, monitoring system performance, configuring hosting environments, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and maintaining Linux-based servers.
- Monitor server health, performance, and system availability.
- Support website hosting, server configuration, and maintenance tasks.
- Assist with user account management, permissions, and system security.
- Help troubleshoot server, network, and hosting-related issues.
- Perform routine system updates, backups, and maintenance activities.
- Assist in configuring domains, DNS records, and SSL certificates.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of Linux administration.
- Understanding of server administration concepts and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with web hosting, DNS, and domain management.
- Basic knowledge of shell scripting is an added advantage.
- Good problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
