Position Overview
TheInside Lead Generatoris responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing potential clients through remote channels. This role focuses on generating high-quality leads that support the sales pipeline, ensuring steady business growth. The position primarily involves prospect research, outbound outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn), and converting inquiries into sales-qualified opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Research & Identification
- Conduct detailed research to identify potential prospects using CRM, LinkedIn, online directories, social platforms, and industry databases.
- Segment leads based on industry, geography, buying potential, and decision-making roles.
- Maintain and update lead lists regularly.
2. Outbound Lead Generation
- Execute daily outbound calling, emailing, and messaging campaigns.
- Initiate engaging conversations to introduce products/services.
- Follow scripts and frameworks while personalizing communication as required.
3. Lead Qualification
- Assess prospect needs, pain points, budgets, and timelines.
- Use BANT / CHAMP / GPCT frameworks to qualify leads.
- Ensure only relevant, high-intent prospects are passed to the Sales Executives.
4. Inbound Lead Handling
- Respond quickly to inbound inquiries from website forms, social media, referrals, and digital campaigns.
- Convert curious prospects into warm sales opportunities.
5. Appointment Setting
- Schedule product demos, meetings, or follow-up calls for the Business Development / Sales Team.
- Ensure calendar coordination and reminders for both teams.
6. CRM & Reporting
- Log all interactions into CRM systems accurately (Ican etc.).
- Maintain daily/weekly performance reports on leads, conversions, and pipeline status.
- Track KPIs like call volume, email responses, lead-to-opportunity rate.
7. Collaboration with Marketing & Sales
- Provide feedback to marketing on lead quality, campaign results, and prospect behavior.
- Work closely with sales to understand target customer profiles and refine approach.
Required Skills & Competencies
Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal & written communication.
- Strong cold-calling confidence.
- Ability to handle objections smoothly.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools.
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email automation platforms, and lead databases.
- Basic understanding of sales funnels and digital marketing.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in lead generation, inside sales, or telemarketing (freshers with strong communication can apply).
- Familiarity with B2B sales preferred.
