Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically sound professional to lead the Production Department of our Injection Moulding unit. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in processing engineering plastics, a strong understanding of assembly and sub-assembly processes, and a working knowledge of IATF systems.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the entire production floor, including planning, resource allocation, and execution of production schedules.
- Knowledge on processing of engineering plastics with focus on cycle time, rejection control, and quality output.
- Implement and maintain IATF system requirements across all production activities.
- Guide the team in assembly and sub-assembly operations, ensuring proper fitment and function as per product specifications.
- Monitor machine performance, plan preventive maintenance with maintenance teams, and ensure minimal downtime.
- Analyze production data and generate regular reports for management on efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Drive continual improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and root cause analysis tools.
- Train and develop production staff to ensure high performance and technical competence.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Design teams to meet project timelines and product quality standards.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree CIPET / Production Engineering.
- Minimum 10- 15 years of experience in Injection Moulding, especially with engineering plastics.
- Strong understanding of moulding parameters, material behavior, and process troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of IATF standards and quality compliance practices.
- Experience in managing assembly and sub-assembly lines.
- Leadership ability with team management and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
