Role Summary
The JDE OTC Analyst will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the Order-to-Cash (OTC) workstream on Oracle JD Edwards, covering Order Management, Billing/Invoicing, and Customer Support. The role requires hands-on functional experience, close interaction with business users, and strong understanding of end-to-end OTC business processes.
Key Responsibilities
Order Management
Support end-to-end Sales Order Management in JD Edwards, including order entry, validation, pricing, credit checks, and order fulfillment.
Handle order modifications, cancellations, backorders, and returns in line with business policies.
Work closely with supply chain, finance, and customer service teams to resolve order-related issues.
Billing & Invoicing
Manage billing and invoicing processes in JD Edwards, ensuring accuracy and timely invoice generation.
Support billing cycles, corrections, credit/debit notes, and revenue-related queries.
Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and pricing issues.
Customer Support & Issue Resolution
Act as L2/L3 functional support for OTC-related issues in JD Edwards.
Analyze incidents, identify root causes, and provide functional fixes or workarounds.
Coordinate with technical teams for defect fixes, enhancements, and deployments.
Business & Functional Support
Understand and document OTC business requirements and translate them into JD Edwards functional solutions.
Participate in UAT, regression testing, and validation of OTC enhancements.
Support integrations with upstream/downstream systems impacting OTC.
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities for OTC process optimization and system improvements.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and standard operating procedures.
Required Skills & Experience
Functional Skills
3–4 years of hands-on experience in Oracle JD Edwards OTC workstream.
Strong knowledge of:
Sales Order Management
Billing & Invoicing
Customer Master & Pricing
Order-to-Cash lifecycle
Experience working in production support and enhancement projects.
ERP & Tools
Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne / World
Exposure to batch jobs, reports, and OTC-related tables (functional understanding).
Basic understanding of OTC integrations and data flows.
Business & Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills for interaction with business stakeholders and customers.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests.
Good to Have
Experience with OTC KPIs, SLA-based support, or shared services environments.
Exposure to testing tools and documentation (BRD, FSD, UAT scenarios).
Basic understanding of finance concepts related to revenue and billing.
