Job Description
The Civil Site Engineer will be responsible for coordinating construction activities at the assigned project site in East Tambaram, Chennai.
The role includes site supervision, labour coordination, material monitoring, AutoCAD drawing review, work progress tracking, and coordination with the project team.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities at the project site.
- Coordinate with labourers and site supervisors.
- Monitor construction materials and their usage.
- Review AutoCAD drawings and technical drawings.
- Ensure site work follows approved drawings and project requirements.
- Monitor construction work and site activities.
- Identify site-related technical issues and coordinate with the concerned team.
- Assist with daily work planning and project scheduling.
- Track site progress and maintain work updates.
- Coordinate with the project team regarding daily construction activities.
Requirements
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in Civil Engineering, Site Engineering, or Construction.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Knowledge of construction site activities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to coordinate labour and manage assigned site activities.
- Candidates from East Tambaram and nearby areas are preferred.
