Optometrist (Optical Retail – Hooghly)
Job Overview
We are looking for a qualified Optometrist to join our clinic team in Hooghly. You will perform precise eye examinations, diagnose vision issues, and prescribe corrective lenses while ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Eye Examinations: Conduct accurate refraction tests and comprehensive vision assessments.
- Prescriptions: Prescribe spectacles, contact lenses, and low-vision aids.
- Patient Consultation: Guide patients on lens types, coatings, and contact lens care.
- Equipment Care: Operate and maintain ophthalmic instruments like autorefractors and lensmeters.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with the store manager and sales team to ensure smooth orders.
Job Requirements
- Education: Diploma in Optometry (D.Optom) or Bachelor in Optometry (B.Optom).
- Experience: Both freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
- Skills: Strong clinical knowledge, patience, clear communication, and customer service.
- Location: Hooghly, West Bengal.
