We are looking for a passionate and skilled Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will be the right-hand support to our Chef de Partie, helping to run a specific kitchen section (like pastry, sauce, starters, or butchery). Your main focus will be preparing high-quality ingredients, cooking delicious dishes, and ensuring the kitchen stays clean and organized. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Commis chef looking to take the next step in their culinary career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Assist in preparing, seasoning and cooking high-quality dishes according to our menu standards and recepies.
- Quality & Presentation: ensure all food leaving your section when the Chef de Partie is away, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Inventory & Stock: Help manage stock rotation (FIFO), reduce food wastage and report any low inventory to the higher authority.
- Kitchen Safety: Maintain a clean, organized and hygienic workstation, strictly following all food safety and sanitation rules.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience working as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie in the hotel industry.
- Culinary Skills: Strong basic cooking techniques, excellent knife skills and a solid understanding of food safety.
- Team Work: Ability to work under pressure alongside a fast moving kitchen environment.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per hour
