We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Foreman to supervise daily on-site operations and lead our field crew. In this role, you will report directly to the Project Superintendent/Manager, ensure projects stay on schedule, delegate daily tasks, and maintain strict compliance with health and safety standards. The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on trade experience and proven leadership skills to keep our worksites efficient and incident-free.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage Crew Operations: Delegate clear daily tasks to field crew members and sub-contractors based on project priorities.
- Interpret Blueprints: Read and accurately execute structural drawings, elevations, plans, and specifications.
- Enforce Safety Standards: Overee complete compliance with OSHA guidelines, proper PPE wear, and site-specific safety protocols.
- Monitor Quality Control: Inspect daily work completed to ensure it meets building codes and structural requirements.
- Track Materials & Tools: Keep an accurate inventory of tools, order additional project materials as needed, and document expenses.
- Report Site Progress: Coordinate with project managers and engineers, providing accurate daily progress logs and timeline updates.
- Resolve Conflict: Solve technical on-site issues and handle workforce disputes quickly to prevent project delays.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on experience in construction or a specific trade, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of construction procedures, machinery operation, and safety guidelines.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crawl, and lift up to 50–80 lbs for extended periods in variable weather conditions.
- Leadership: Exceptional team management, delegation, and verbal communication capabilities.
- Documentation: Basic computer literacy for logging work hours, material receipts, and daily reports.
- Requirements: Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record; high school diploma or trade certificate preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
