Summary:
In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of bespoke software solutions. This position requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The role emphasizes establishing and maintaining development standards, ensuring that the software produced is scalable, performs efficiently, and aligns closely with the strategic goals of the organization. Collaboration and leadership are central, as the individual supports their team in navigating complex technical challenges and drives continuous improvement in software quality.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Define and strengthen change management policies across delivery teams
- Drive alignment on Definition of Done across all segments
- Coordinate with WS6 (Ways of Working) on platform operating model
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Change Management.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Incident Management, Experience in Change Management, ITIL and SDLC principles
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns.
- Ability to assess and improve software scalability and performance.
- Experience in coordinating cross-team collaboration and managing technical dependencies.
- Skilled in problem-solving and providing innovative solutions within complex software environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Change Management.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
