Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated Compliance Analyst to join our State Filings team. This full-time position, State Filings and plays a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate submission of state regulatory filings for multiple Life and Health companies. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment managing high-volume tasks under tight deadlines while demonstrating strong analytical capabilities and independent judgment.
Shift Timings - 3:30 pm - 12 am/5:30pm - 2 am
Work Mode : Hybrid
Work Location: Sector 62, Gurugram
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit state-specific regulatory filings with accuracy and timeliness
- Monitor and manage year-end close schedules to ensure complete and timely data filing
- Process invoice payments and manage remittance submissions to meet due dates
- Develop and deliver independent analysis and ad hoc reporting as required
- Review filing work for team members during quarter-end and throughout the fiscal year
- Identify process inefficiencies and propose innovative solutions to streamline workflows
- Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with business and support units
- Execute special projects and ad hoc initiatives as assigned, leveraging independent thinking and creative problem-solving approaches
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant job experience
- Self-starter with strong initiative and demonstrated ability to work independently
- Proficiency with numerical analysis and strong comfort working with data and metrics
- Reliable and dependable with consistent follow-through on commitments
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to think creatively and outside the box
- Strong multitasking capabilities with proven ability to prioritize competing demands
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with proven ability to meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- Compliance background or regulatory experience
- Insurance and/or financial services industry experience
- Experience working in medium-to-large organizations with multiple divisions
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel and Word)
- Familiarity with StatementPRo (formerly EFreedom), SERFF, or OPTins platforms
