1. BOM Creation & Management
- Prepare detailed BOM for AHU units including:
- Sheet metal parts, structural items
- Coils, fans, motors
- Filters, dampers, insulation materials
- Ensure correct item codes, specifications, and quantities.
- Update BOMs based on design revisions.
2. Design Coordination
- Work closely with design/engineering team to understand:
- AHU configurations
- Technical drawings and GA layouts
- Extract data from drawings to prepare accurate BOM.
3. ERP/System Entry
- Create and maintain BOMs in ERP system.
- Ensure proper structuring (multi-level BOM if required).
- Maintain version control and revision tracking.
4. Costing Support
- Assist in product costing by:
- Providing material quantity details
- Supporting estimation team
- Help in preparing cost sheets for quotations.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with:
- Purchase team → for material specifications
- Production team → for feasibility and consumption
- Stores → for item codes and stock mapping
6. Standardization
- Develop standard BOM templates for common AHU models.
- Reduce errors by maintaining master data and libraries.
