Who are you?
You're a systems thinker first. You look at a sales team and don't see people who need more leads - you see a machine that needs better intelligence, cleaner data, and smarter automation to do what it already does, but faster and with far more confidence.
You've worked in MOps, RevOps, or a hybrid of both. You know the CRM deeply enough to architect it, not just use it. You've built workflows and automations that actually get adopted. You understand that in a relationship-led, enterprise sales environment (which is exactly what selling into the NHS is), the difference between winning and losing often comes down to who walked into the room better prepared.
You’ll report to our Growth Marketing Manager, who supports the delivery of our GTM, and who'll point you at the problems that matter most. From there you won't wait to be told how to fix them. You'll form a view, bring a proposal, and build it. Day to day you'll work directly with our BDMs, marketers, and Customer Success team. They're your users, and the role only works if they trust what you build.
OK, that’s me, but who are DrDoctor?
Take a look at our careers page or our website to find out a bit more about our mission, vision, and impact!
But ultimately, we the NHS and want to help it work better. We radically transform the delivery of health services to make healthcare work for everyone – for patients, doctors, administrative teams and taxpayers.
DrDoctor was built on a simple belief: technology can transform the NHS. Our B Corporation certification holds us accountable not just for what we build, but for how we build it - and the impact that has on people, patients and the health system around us.
️What would I be doing day to day?
One of the great things about DrDoctor is that every day is different and there is always an opportunity to get involved in something outside of your ‘BAU’ or your regular teams!
However, the key things you could expect would include:
Commercial intelligence - making the team room-ready
Before every senior event, dinner, or discovery call, the commercial team should walk in knowing exactly who they're meeting, what's changed at that organisation recently, and what to prioritise. You'll build and own the system that makes that happen: enriched stakeholder briefs, exec hire monitoring, board changes, procurement signals. Right now this is done manually and inconsistently. You'll make it repeatable and fast.
Attribution - knowing what actually works
We run our own private events, podcasts, and exhibit at some flagship events. Some move deals. Some don't. Right now we can make educated guesses; you'll build the attribution layer that tells us with confidence which activities are worth the investment - and which we should redirect.
Signal monitoring across target accounts
NHS selling is long-cycle and relationship-led. The moments that matter - a new CDIO joining a trust, an ICB restructure, a published tender, a policy shift - often happen weeks before they're visible to the commercial team. You'll monitor for those triggers across our target account list and make sure the right person gets the right nudge at the right time.
CRM as a genuine source of truth
You'll own the architecture of our HubSpot instance, lifecycle stages, contact and account data quality, deduplication, ownership rules, and automate the hygiene so the team can trust what's in the system and act on it without second-guessing, and without anyone cleaning it by hand.
Sales enablement automation
Auto-generated pre-meeting briefs. Follow-up workflow triggers. Pipeline forecasting. Engagement scoring that flags warm accounts to the right BDM before the moment passes. You'll build and iterate the automations that reduce manual effort and increase the quality and speed of commercial follow-up.
Campaign and content signal loops
We're shifting from lead generation to demand generation, tracking intent signals from content engagement, not just traditional form fills. You'll connect the dots between our marketing campaigns, web signals, and CRM so that a trust reading different content across a specific campaign three times in a week doesn't slip through unnoticed.
Owning the GTM stack
New tools should arrive here on purpose. You'll evaluate and integrate what the stack needs, whether that's enrichment, intent data, or outbound orchestration, and retire anything that isn't earning its licence. You'll own the tooling. Everything you ship comes with documentation and training, so the team can run it without you.
Marketing operations foundations
Attribution and demand generation only work if the plumbing underneath is solid. You'll set the standards and automate their enforcement: UTM taxonomy, campaign naming, lifecycle and MQL definitions, lead routing, and the SLAs between Marketing and Sales. You'll also run the marketing automation layer (nurture flows, forms, landing pages, deliverability) and the web tracking that feeds it (GA4, tag management, conversion tracking).
Reporting that gets used
You'll build the dashboards that show Marketing, Sales, and leadership what's working: funnel, pipeline, campaign ROI. One version of the truth, kept current without anyone having to chase it.
Compliance designed in from the start
We sell into the NHS and we treat stakeholder data accordingly. Consent capture, preference management, GDPR, PECR, and retention will be built into the enrichment and outbound engines you create, so we can move fast without ending up on the wrong side of the rules.
Test, measure, and iterate
Not every idea will work, and that's fine. A key part of this role is treating your work as loops: you'll generate ideas independently, put them live, and measure whether they're actually working and having an impact, then keep what does and drop what doesn't. That includes the AI: anything AI-generated that reaches a client, whether research, briefs, or personalisation, gets accuracy-checked before it scales.
OK, I’m interested. What experience do I need to have?
Must-haves
5–7 years in Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, or a GTM systems role, ideally in B2B SaaS, health tech, or a complex, relationship-led sales environment
You think in systems before you think in tools. You can map a commercial process, identify where it breaks, and design a fix, not just implement one you've been handed
AI-native: you build automated and AI workflows as a matter of course. We're an AI-first company and Anthropic is our AI of choice, so direct experience with Claude, and tools like n8n or MCP-based integrations, is a strong advantage
Strong HubSpot experience: workflows, lifecycle stages, reporting, data architecture. You've made a CRM actually useful, not just populated
Comfortable working with APIs, webhooks, and cross-platform integrations. You can write SQL to pull and check your own data, and script in Python or JavaScript when a workflow tool won't cut it. Using AI to write them is fine. That's how we work. You don't need to be a developer, but you must understand code can't be afraid of the plumbing.
Experience building automations that get adopted. You understand change management is half the job
Self-directed and commercially curious: you'll need to build relationships with Sales, Marketing, and CS and earn the trust to shape how they work
B2 English (minimum), C1 or higher preferred.
Nice-to-haves
Familiarity with intent data platforms, enrichment tools (Clay or similar), or warm outbound orchestration.
Any exposure to NHS, public sector, or regulated-industry GTM, understanding how NHS procurement cycles and stakeholder maps work is a genuine edge.
Experience with call intelligence or revenue intelligence tools (Gong, Chorus, or equivalent).
Comfortable with meeting recording and transcription tools as part of a modern GTM stack.
Background in demand generation or ABM programmes.
This is a hybrid role which requires regular overlap with UK working hours since your manager and most stakeholders are UK based. If you are working from the office, you will be expected to work 10am - 7pm along with the rest of the office based team. If you are not working from the office, you will be expected to work UK hours. This is a non negotiable for us so please be sure you can commit to this before applying
Why this role matters
Selling into the NHS is relationship-led and long-cycle. We can't brute-force it with volume, and we don't want to scale demand by adding headcount. This role is how we grow instead: better intelligence, cleaner data, faster follow-up. You'll see the effect of your work in pipeline quality and in how prepared the team is when they walk into a room.
What success looks like
30 days: You've mapped the current GTM stack, identified the three biggest gaps in our commercial intelligence and attribution, and built your first relationships with the Sales, Marketing, and CS teams. You have a point of view on what to fix first.
60 days: At least one meaningful improvement is live and being used, a stakeholder brief workflow, a signal-monitoring process, a cleaned CRM segment, or a campaign attribution model. The commercial team has noticed.
90 days: The team is walking into events and meetings better prepared than before you arrived, with the research done for them. Attribution is cleaner. You've automated 5 routine manual tasks that were eating the team's time (we'll agree the exact target together). You have a backlog of improvements you're driving, not waiting on.
Thinking of applying?
We know from research and experience that candidates may not apply if they don’t think they meet 100% of our requirements. If you don’t tick all the boxes but feel you would be a good fit, we would still love to hear from you. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive culture!
We’re happy to make reasonable adjustments at any stage of the hiring process and in the role.
Just to let you know too, we will need you to have the Right To Work in the UK.
We're perfect for each other, what are the next steps?
We are currently recruiting heavily and have a lot of CVs to go through so please be patient with us while we go through them.
If this job looks right for you, please go ahead and apply. If it's a match, we'll set up an initial call with you to find out more about you and your experience, after that you'll meet some more of the team across a few more stages, including a technical/competency interview or task and a culture add interview.
