Video Editor (Fully Remote)

About the Role
We're looking for a skilled Video Editor to join our team on a fully remote basis. You'll be responsible for turning raw footage into polished, engaging content — with a strong focus on pacing, storytelling, and keeping viewers hooked from start to finish.

Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into final, publish-ready content
- Apply strong pacing and storytelling techniques to keep content engaging
- Work with color correction, transitions, sound design, and basic motion graphics
- Sync audio, add subtitles/captions, and ensure consistent quality across videos
- Organize and manage project files and media efficiently
- Collaborate with the team on creative direction and feedback
- Meet deadlines while maintaining high editing standards
- Stay updated on current video trends and editing styles
Requirements
- Proven experience editing videos (portfolio/reel required)
- Must be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (non-negotiable)
- Strong understanding of pacing, timing, and narrative flow
- Good eye for visual storytelling and shot selection
- Working knowledge of color grading and audio syncing
- Familiarity with Adobe After Effects or similar tools is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setup
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable home editing setup
- Good communication skills
