We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Engineer to manage procurement activities for mechanical components, raw materials, and engineering supplies. The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of experience in purchasing within a manufacturing environment and possess strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure mechanical components, raw materials, and consumables as per production requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate terms, and finalize purchase orders.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining quality standards.
- Coordinate with production, stores, quality, and planning teams to understand material requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimum stock availability.
- Track purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, and documentation.
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to achieve cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
