We currently operate multiple Skill Development Centers (SDCs) across Maharashtra, training rural youth for employment in various skilled trades and industries.
As part of our South India expansion, we are looking for dynamic professionals to strengthen our procurement and operational functions, ensuring seamless support for our growing network of Skill Development Centers.
Role Purpose
The Procurement & Operations Manager / Senior Procurement Executive will be responsible for managing procurement activities, vendor relationships, purchase processes, inventory coordination, reconciliations, and operational support across multiple Skill Development Centers.
The role requires a detail-oriented professional who can effectively manage procurement cycles, ensure cost optimization, maintain vendor compliance, support operational requirements, and drive process adherence across locations.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities including requirement gathering, vendor sourcing, quotation analysis, negotiations, purchase order generation, and delivery tracking.
- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage vendors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely service delivery.
- Conduct vendor performance reviews and maintain vendor scorecards.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, payment schedules, and service agreements to achieve cost efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval matrices, and purchasing procedures.
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, agreements, and vendor documentation.
Purchase Order & Procurement Operations
- Raise and track Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs).
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
- Monitor procurement timelines and proactively address supply chain bottlenecks.
- Ensure accurate documentation of procurement transactions and approvals.
Inventory Management & Reconciliation
- Monitor inventory levels across centers and ensure optimum stock availability.
- Track material movement, asset allocation, and inventory utilization.
- Conduct periodic inventory audits and stock reconciliations.
- Reconcile procurement records, invoices, goods received notes (GRNs), and inventory reports.
- Coordinate with finance teams for vendor payment reconciliations and procurement-related audits.
Operations Support
- Support day-to-day operational requirements across Skill Development Centers.
- Coordinate with center teams to ensure infrastructure readiness, equipment availability, and operational continuity.
- Assist in setting up new centers and managing procurement requirements during expansion activities.
- Monitor operational issues and coordinate timely resolution with internal and external stakeholders.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly procurement and operational MIS reports.
- Track procurement KPIs such as purchase cycle time, vendor performance, cost savings, inventory turnover, and procurement spend.
- Maintain dashboards and management reports for leadership review.
- Ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure procurement documentation, contracts, invoices, and vendor records are maintained accurately.
- Support internal audits and compliance reviews.
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and financial controls.
- Maintain proper records for statutory, audit, and compliance requirements.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Administration, and Center Teams.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders for smooth execution of procurement activities.
- Support management in vendor evaluations, procurement planning, and operational decision-making.
Skills & Competencies
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and sourcing strategies.
- Experience in quotation comparison, negotiations, and purchase order management.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and inventory controls.
Financial & Reconciliation Skills
- Experience in invoice verification, vendor reconciliation, GRN matching, and procurement audits.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Understanding of budgeting and cost control principles.
MIS & Reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS Reporting).
- Experience preparing procurement and inventory reports.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, SAP, Tally, Zoho, or procurement software is preferred.
Operations & Coordination
- Strong execution and follow-up capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors, locations, and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Problem Solving
- Ability to identify procurement and operational challenges and implement practical solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and process orientation.
Qualifications & Experience
- 4–8 years of experience in Procurement, Purchase, Supply Chain, Vendor Management, Inventory Management, or Operations.
- Experience managing procurement activities in multi-location organizations preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related fields.
- Experience working with ERP systems and procurement tools preferred.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi required.
- Telugu will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel to centers and vendor locations as required.

Pay: ₹10,819.40 - ₹81,457.43 per month
