Job Summary: Media Associate We are looking for a proactive, sharp, and detail-oriented Media Associate to join our Media War Room team.
The role involves real-time monitoring, tracking, and analysis of media coverage across TV, print, digital, and electronic platforms.
The candidate will play a key role in identifying emerging narratives, monitoring political and public affairs developments, and supporting strategic communication efforts through timely reporting and media intelligence.
Key Responsibilities: ● Monitor and track daily media coverage across television, print, digital, and electronic media platforms.
● Identify, analyse, and summarise key news stories, political developments, debates, and emerging narratives relevant to the organisation and clients.
● Conduct real-time tracking of media reports, TV debates, digital trends, and social media conversations.
● Prepare daily media briefs, alerts, and intelligence reports for internal stakeholders.
● Track competitor visibility, media sentiment, and issue-based coverage across platforms. ● Maintain and update media databases, journalist lists, and publication trackers.
● Coordinate with media houses, journalists, and editorial teams for information gathering and outreach support.
● Support the communications and PR team in drafting press notes, statements, media responses, and briefing documents.
● Assist in documentation, archival, and analysis of important media coverage and campaign performance.
● Work closely with the Media War Room team during high-priority events, elections, campaigns, and major political developments.
Qualifications: ● Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Political Science, Public Relations, or a related field.
● 1–2 years of experience in media monitoring, newsroom operations, PR, political communications, or media research.
Freshers with strong analytical and writing skills may also apply.
● Strong understanding of TV news, print media, digital platforms, and the political/media landscape.
● Excellent command of English and Hindi (written and verbal). Knowledge of regional languages will be an added advantage.
● Strong analytical, research, and reporting skills with close attention to detail.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure Media War Room environment.
● Familiarity with media monitoring tools, social listening platforms, and online news databases.
● Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and digital research tools.
● Keen interest in current affairs, politics, elections, governance, and media trends.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
