Sheet Metal, Pressing, Fabrication Processes and Tooling experience required.
Ability to identify different metal gauges and grades is must.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.
- Die & Tooling Control: Track the location, maintenance status, and availability of heavy press tools, progressive dies, and welding fixtures
- Material Handling & Warehousing: Supervise the receipt, storage, and issuance of heavy steel coils, sheets, and hardware. Ensure proper handling using cranes, forklifts, and pallets
- ERP Operations: Use inventory and production software to log daily transactions, generate reports, and conduct regular physical audits.
- Quality & Compliance: Implement 5S and safety norms in the warehouse. Ensure that stored metals are protected from rust, moisture, and physical damage.
- Team Leadership: Manage the warehouse staff, forklift operators, and storekeepers. Coordinate material flow with the press shop floor to align with daily production goals.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers for timely delivery and resolve material-related issues.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in stores management within manufacturing (preferably sheet metal/automotive).
- Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and inventory software.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
