About the role:
We are looking for a Gujarati content reviewer to check educational assessment questions for school students (Grades 1–10). The review work is in Gujarati and you will be the quality check that ensures every Gujarati question is accurate, age-appropriate, and aligned with the GSEB curriculum before it is used. Fluency in English is also required, as source material and working communication are in English.
What you'll do:
-
Review Gujarati assessment questions for factual accuracy and curriculum alignment.
-
Check that each question is age-appropriate for its grade right level of difficulty, vocabulary, and concept for the child.
-
Confirm language quality: correct, natural, developmentally appropriate Gujarati phrasing, especially for younger learners.
-
Verify each question has one clear correct answer and sensible options, and is clearly worded and self-contained.
-
Flag anything off-syllabus, inaccurate, ambiguous, or developmentally unsuitable, with a short reason.
Requirements:
-
GSEB Teaching experience at primary or secondary level, as a subject-matter expert in at least one subject.
-
Strong familiarity with the GSEB curriculum — what each grade covers and how concepts are sequenced.
-
Fluent in both Gujarati and English — native or near-native Gujarati for reviewing and correcting content, along with strong English skills to work effectively in an English-medium instructional environment.
- A teaching or child-development background, or equivalent experience judging what is right for children of a given age.
-
Careful, detail-oriented, and comfortable explaining clearly why something is correct or wrong.
Basic technical comfort — able to work confidently in spreadsheets and pick up a simple software/review utility with light training.
-
Nice to have:
-
Experience reviewing or writing educational content or assessments.
