Key Responsibilities
System Management & Support
- POS & Software Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain POS systems (e.g., Toast, Micros, Posist), ensuring menu updates, pricing, and tax settings are accurate.
- Network & Hardware: Oversee restaurant networks, Wi-Fi connectivity for guests, kitchen printers, and digital display screens.
- User Support: Provide tier-1/tier-2 troubleshooting for hardware or software issues affecting front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) staff.
Operations & Vendor Coordination
- Vendor Management: Act as the primary liaison with third-party tech vendors, ISP providers, and hardware technicians for repairs and system upgrades.
- Inventory & ERP Integration: Assist with integrating the POS with back-office inventory and supply chain software to track food costs and waste.
Security & Compliance
- Data Security: Ensure PCI-DSS compliance for payment processing and safeguard customer and employee data.
- Backup & Recovery: Maintain regular data backups for sales reports, recipes, and critical operational records.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Typically 2–7 years of IT support experience, ideally within the hospitality, QSR (Quick Service Restaurant), or F&B sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace, basic network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN), and working knowledge of F&B-specific software.
- Soft Skills: High tolerance for fast-paced, high-pressure environments, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to train non-technical staff
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
