Job Summary
The Junior Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and monitoring construction activities under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) Project, including school buildings, classrooms, toilets, boundary walls, and other educational infrastructure. The role ensures timely execution of work while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications and government norms.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at assigned school project sites.
- Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project timelines.
- Monitor excavation, RCC work, masonry, plastering, flooring, painting, and finishing works.
- Conduct regular site inspections and maintain quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, school authorities, and government officials.
- Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPRs), work progress updates, and site documentation.
- Verify work measurements and maintain Measurement Book (MB) records.
- Ensure timely availability and proper utilization of construction materials.
- Monitor labour productivity and maintain attendance records.
- Coordinate material testing and quality checks.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Report site issues, delays, and technical challenges to the Project Manager.
- Assist in contractor billing and quantity verification.
- Ensure project completion within the specified timeline and budget.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in building construction projects.
- Experience in Government, School Infrastructure, or Institutional Projects is preferred.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of building construction practices and site execution.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOQs.
- Basic knowledge of quantity estimation and billing.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and construction materials.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently at multiple project locations.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
