Azure DevOps Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable, and automated cloud infrastructure while enabling seamless CI/CD practices across enterprise applications.
You will play a key role in cloud modernization initiatives, application migrations to Azure, infrastructure automation, Kubernetes deployments, DevSecOps implementation, and continuous platform optimization.
Key ResponsibilitiesCI/CD & DevOps Automation
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and other DevOps tools.
- Automate application build, test, deployment, and release processes.
- Integrate DevSecOps practices, including security scanning, artifact management, and compliance checks.
- Manage artifact repositories using JFrog Artifactory.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline software delivery.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Bicep.
- Build reusable, modular, and secure cloud infrastructure templates.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of Azure resources.
Cloud Migration & Modernization
- Lead migration of enterprise applications from on-premises environments to Microsoft Azure.
- Re-architect legacy applications into cloud-native solutions.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, availability, security, and performance.
- Support cloud transformation and modernization initiatives.
Azure Cloud Engineering
Manage and optimize Azure services including:

- Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Automate operational tasks, deployments, monitoring, and maintenance activities.
- Improve operational efficiency through scripting and automation.
Monitoring & Incident Management
Implement proactive monitoring using:
- Dynatrace

Database Support

- Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning.
- Drive DevOps best practices across engineering teams.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging cloud and DevOps technologies.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6–10 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with strong Azure expertise.
- Hands-on experience implementing enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Bicep.
- Experience with Azure cloud services and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in Azure networking, cloud security, and hybrid connectivity.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Experience with cloud migration and modernization projects.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and security best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Azure Certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400)
- Kubernetes Certification (CKA/CKAD)
- Terraform Associate Certification
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience working in enterprise cloud environments
