- Understand the customer's business processes and simulate end-user behavior.
- Work closely with the client to decide functional testing strategies
- Document any issues found in a bug tracking system with all pertinent details.
- Understand all components of the system architecture at a high level and isolate the components causing an issue, along with documentation of why you believe the issue can be isolated to the specific component.
- Coordinate with the team (for discussions) and interact with the client (for updates)
- Test Case creation from the Functional Specifications / Software Requirement Specification document.
- Test the Functionality as per the Test plan and respective Test Cases
- Update test case execution status in the recording system and log defects
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge with hands of manual and automation testing.
- Knowledge with hands-on testing of Web, Mobile and database applications.
- Candidate should have strong Analytical/Logical skills.
