A Force Motors dealership service or workshop manager oversees daily workshop operations, leads the technical team, manages customer service, and ensures high repair quality and profitability for Force commercial and utility vehicles.Key Responsibilities
- Workshop Operations: Manage daily workflow, job card openings, vehicle bay allocation, and service schedules.
- Team Leadership: Supervise mechanics, technicians, and service advisors; arrange technical training for Force vehicle systems.
- Customer Relations: Handle customer complaints, explain repair estimates, and ensure timely vehicle delivery.
- Quality Control: Inspect completed repairs and ensure adherence to Force Motors service standards and warranty guidelines.
- Parts Management: Coordinate with the spare parts department to maintain stock and reduce vehicle turnaround time.
- Revenue & Targets: Drive workshop revenue, labor productivity, and periodic maintenance service targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 5 to 8 years in automobile service, with at least 2 to 3 years managing a commercial vehicle or multi-brand workshop.
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of diesel engines, transmissions, and commercial vehicle maintenance .
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and customer handling skills.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in dealership management software (DMS) and MS Office.
