About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Shopify Developer who has hands-on experience in building, customizing, and maintaining Shopify e-commerce websites. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Shopify theme development, app integrations, and website optimization to deliver high-performing online stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Shopify e-commerce websites.
- Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs.
- Build responsive and mobile-friendly storefronts.
- Integrate third-party apps, payment gateways, shipping solutions, and other Shopify applications.
- Optimize website speed, performance, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot website issues and implement bug fixes.
- Work closely with the design, marketing, and development teams to deliver new features.
- Manage product pages, collections, navigation, and store settings.
- Ensure website security, scalability, and compatibility across browsers and devices.
- Perform regular website updates and maintenance.
Required Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in Shopify development.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with Shopify theme customization and custom theme development.
- Familiarity with Shopify Admin, APIs, and app integrations.
- Knowledge of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Understanding of website performance optimization.
- Basic knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Shopify Plus.
- Knowledge of React or Vue.js.
- Understanding of Google Analytics, GTM, and conversion tracking.
- Basic SEO knowledge for e-commerce websites.
- Experience integrating ERP, CRM, or inventory management systems.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant Shopify certifications are an added advantage.
