Role Overview
We are seeking an IT Systems, Identity & Collaboration Lead to manage core systems platforms across the
organisation. Reporting to the Head of IT Infrastructure & End User Services, this role owns Microsoft 365 and
productivity tools, Active Directory and licensing management, and Identity & Access Management (IAM). The role
ensures employees have secure, seamless access to systems and collaboration tools across all sites.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 & Productivity Tools Management
- Administer and optimise the Microsoft 365 tenant including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive,
and related services
- Manage M365 licences, service configurations, policies, and security settings to ensure compliance and cost
efficiency
- Support and enable productivity and collaboration tooling for users across all locations; drive adoption of
M365 features
- Monitor M365 service health, investigate incidents, and liaise with Microsoft support as required
- Manage third-party productivity and SaaS tool integrations and ensure secure configuration
Active Directory & Licence Management
- Administer AWS Active Directory including users, groups, OUs, GPOs etc
- Manage software and subscription licence inventory. Ensure licence compliance and optimise licence
utilisation across the organisation
- Maintain and automate user lifecycle processes (creation, modification, and deletion) aligned with HR
workflows and IT policy
- Administer DNS, DHCP and Group Policy in line with security and operational standards
- Maintain accurate and current records of directory services configurations and licence assignments
Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Own and manage the Identity & Access Management framework including role-based access control (RBAC),
provisioning, and de-provisioning
- Administer Multi Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO), and Privileged Access Management
(PAM) solutions
- Conduct regular access reviews and recertification cycles to ensure least privilege principles are maintained
- Manage Conditional Access policies and Zero Trust access controls in alignment with security standards
- Respond to and investigate identity related security incidents. Maintain audit logs and access reports
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure systems and identity configurations align with IT security policies, DPDP, and regulatory
requirements
- Maintain documentation for all platform configurations, licence assignments, and access policies
- Support IT audits with identity and systems evidence. Participate in vulnerability management activities
Qualifications & Experience
- 5 to 10 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in systems administration or identity management
- Strong hands on experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint,
OneDrive)
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory
- Experience with IAM tools and protocols: SSO (SAML, OIDC), MFA, PAM (CyberArk, BeyondTrust,
ManageEngine or equivalent)
- Understanding of licence management and software asset management best practices
- Certifications desirable: Microsoft 365 Administrator (MS-102), AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or
Azure Administrator (AZ-104), or equivalent
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred
Technical Competencies:

Identity: AWS AD, AWS Directory Service, AWS IAM Identity Center, Azure AD/Entra ID, ADFS, Azure AD Connect,
