ETL TESTER 1.Build test strategy and test plans and test cases for releases and execute them within strict timelines. 2.Designing, documenting and executing test plans, test harness, test scenarios/scripts & test cases for manual testing and bug tracking tools. 3.Takes ownership and works with multiple teams. 4.Responsible for validating the data sources, extraction of data, applying transformation logic, and loading the data in the target tables. 5.Good analytical and strong communication skills – ready to present results to business stakeholders virtually. 6.Expert in Data Warehouse testing – ETL & BI. Strong database knowledge. 7.Creating SQL queries and SQL scripts as per business requirements. Database object development activities like views, stored procedures, triggers, functions, etc. 8.Engage with data engineers, testers, and business SMEs for validation, clarity and issue resolution. 9.Review DB2 vs Cloudera comparison reports, ensure completeness, accuracy and consistency of results. 10.Defect tracking experience. 11.Strong understanding of relational database concepts & technology – data modelling, SQL, query optimization. 12.Ability to troubleshoot and assist for resolving defects and other queries related issues. 13.Create Test Plan, Test Scenario, Test Cases and Test Scripts to validate source and target data. 14.Work with Business Analysts/Developers to translate business requirements into Test Cases.
