Job Title: Video Editor
Location: Office-based (Noida)

Shift: 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM (drop off available for Noida, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, East, West and South Delhi)
Job Purpose
The Video Editor will be responsible for transforming raw footage into high-quality, engaging, and visually compelling video content. You will bring sight and sound together to tell a cohesive story that aligns with our brand strategy, optimizes audience engagement, and meets strict production deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Footage & Sequencing: Review raw material, select the best takes, trim segments, and assemble them into a logical, seamless sequence (rough cut to final cut).
- Audio Engineering: Synchronize and mix audio tracks, dialogue, sound effects, voiceovers, and background music to ensure high-quality, balanced audio.
- Visual Enhancement: Apply color correction, color grading, and basic lighting adjustments to maintain visual quality and a consistent brand aesthetic.
- Graphics & Effects: Integrate motion graphics, transitions, animations, titles, subtitles, and special effects to elevate the visual appeal of the content.
- Multi-Platform Optimization: Formats and exports videos optimized for various distribution channels, including long-form content (YouTube) and short-form social media clips (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok).
- File Management: Organize, back up, and manage raw footage, project assets, and finalized exports using proper naming conventions and structured storage procedures.
- Collaboration: Partner with directors, scriptwriters, and marketing teams to understand project briefs, incorporate feedback, and maintain the creative vision.
Technical Requirements & Skills
- Software Proficiency: Mastery of industry-standard non-linear editing (NLE) software, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Motion Graphics & Design: Strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Photoshop for generating graphics, titles, and basic overlays.
- Pacing & Storytelling: A thorough understanding of timing, continuity, comedic or dramatic pacing, and narrative flow.
- Audio & Color: Proven skill in basic audio mixing/cleanup and digital color grading.
- Technical Setup: Deep understanding of video formats, codecs, aspect ratios, and export presets across different digital platforms.
Soft Skills & Attributes
- Attention to Detail: A critical eye for catching technical glitches, audio sync issues, or visual inconsistencies before final delivery.
- Time Management: Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize effectively.
- Receptiveness to Feedback: Openness to constructive criticism and a willingness to execute revisions smoothly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Portfolio: A diverse video editing portfolio or showreel showcasing a mix of formats (e.g., social media edits, corporate videos, promos).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, Digital Media, Animation, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
