- Dispense medicines according to doctor prescriptions
- Verify prescription accuracy before issuing medicines
- Ensure correct dosage, quantity, and labeling
Patient Counseling
- Explain medicine usage, dosage, and precautions
- Inform patients about side effects and drug interactions
- Guide patients regarding medicine storage
Inventory Management
- Maintain medicine stock and availability
- Monitor expiry dates and remove expired medicines
- Coordinate medicine purchases and stock replenishment
Documentation
- Maintain prescription records and billing details
- Update pharmacy software/registers regularly
- Keep records of controlled and scheduled drugs
Coordination with Medical Team
- Coordinate with doctors and nurses regarding medication requirements
- Clarify prescription doubts when necessary
Compliance & Safety
- Follow pharmacy regulations and hospital policies
- Ensure proper storage conditions for medicines
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the pharmacy
Emergency & Inpatient Support
- Ensure availability of emergency medicines
- Support IP and emergency medication requirements promptly
Reporting
- Prepare stock and medicine usage reports
- Report shortages, expired, or damaged medicines to management
Qualification & ExperienceQualification
- D.Pharm / B.Pharm
- Valid Pharmacy Council Registration Certificate is mandatory
Experience
- Fresher or experienced candidates can apply
- Hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Knowledge of medicine dispensing, inventory management, and billing is an added advantage
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
