Electrician
Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering invites applications for the position of Electrician.
Qualification Required
- ITI / Diploma in Electrician or relevant field.
- Valid electrical license is preferred.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in electrical maintenance is an added advantage.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair electrical systems, wiring, lighting, and power connections within the campus.
- Attend electrical complaints and ensure uninterrupted power supply.
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Handle generators, UPS systems, panels, and other electrical installations.
- Ensure safety standards and proper functioning of electrical facilities.
- Support maintenance activities during college events and examinations.
- Coordinate with the administration department for electrical maintenance works.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and electrical standards.
- Good discipline and responsibility in work.
