Job Summary
The warehouse supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, staff supervision, safety compliance, and timely receipt and dispatch of goods. The role focuses on maintaining productivity, accuracy, and operational excellence within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control and record-keeping.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and warehouse procedures.
- Plan and allocate workforce resources to meet operational requirements.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and operational issues.
- Monitor warehouse equipment and arrange maintenance when required.
- Prepare and maintain operational reports, productivity records, and performance metrics.
- Coordinate with suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and organization of warehouse facilities.

Experience
3–5 years of warehouse experience, preferably in the Publication/Book Publishing industry, with experience in inventory, dispatch, packing, and team supervision.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
