GUPIO is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead and manage all core Human Resources functions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in HR operations, statutory compliance, payroll management, employee relations, and talent management. The HR Manager will play a key role in ensuring legal compliance, fostering a positive workplace culture, and supporting business growth through effective people management practices.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exit formalities.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Handle employee grievances and support employee engagement initiatives.
Payroll Management
- Oversee monthly payroll processing with complete accuracy and adherence to timelines.
- Verify attendance, leave records, incentives, reimbursements, deductions, and final settlements.
- Coordinate with finance and payroll vendors for smooth payroll execution.
- Ensure compliance with payroll-related statutory requirements.
HR Compliance & Statutory Requirements
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
- Manage statutory compliances including:
- PF (Provident Fund)
- ESI (Employee State Insurance)
- PT (Professional Tax)
- Labour Welfare Fund
- Gratuity
- Bonus Act
- Shops & Establishment Act
- CLRA and other applicable labor laws
- Coordinate audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, and filings.
Recruitment & Talent Management
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for various positions.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements.
- Conduct interviews, candidate assessments, and salary negotiations.
- Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
Employee Relations & Culture
- Build and maintain positive employee relations across departments.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and wellness initiatives.
- Promote a culture aligned with GUPIO's values and business objectives.
HR Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare HR dashboards and reports on headcount, attrition, recruitment, attendance, and compliance metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on HR data and trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, with strong exposure to payroll and statutory compliances.
- Thorough knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Experience handling payroll for medium to large employee populations.
- Proficiency in HRMS and payroll software.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in HR compliance management and labor law regulations.
- Strong payroll processing and reconciliation experience.
- Knowledge of HRMS platforms and employee database management.
- Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
