Position: Store Assistant

Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Job Summary
Responsible for accurately packing goods for storage or shipment, and safely loading/unloading materials from vehicles or storage areas, ensuring efficiency, care, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Pack goods securely using appropriate materials (boxes, wrapping, padding) to prevent damage during transit.
- Label and organize packed items accurately as per instructions
- Load and unload goods from Vehicle or storage racks
- Sort and stack materials/items in designated storage areas
- Handle goods carefully to avoid breakage or loss
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of packing/loading areas
- Follow safety protocols while lifting, carrying, and stacking items
Requirements
- Physical fitness and ability to lift/carry moderate loads
- Basic understanding of packing materials and methods
- Ability to read labels and match items with documents
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Team player with good work ethic
- Punctuality and reliability
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehouse, packing, or logistics roles
- Basic knowledge of inventory/stock handling
Work Details
- Employment Type : Full-time / Permanent
- Working Hours : 8 hrs including 30 minutes break
- Shift : Shifts (9:30 am to 6:30 pm, 5:00 pm to 2:00 am, 1:00 am to 10:00 am) includes 1 hour break.
- Location : Millupadi, Near UC College, Aluva.
- Salary/Compensation: 15000 1st Month, followed by 17000 upcoming
- Accommodation: provided by company if required.
