Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Consultant Radiologist to join our growing healthcare facility in Basti. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating diagnostic imaging equipment, interpreting a variety of medical scans, and providing accurate, timely diagnostic reports to support clinical teams. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of patient care and diagnostic excellence in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnostic Imaging: Perform and interpret various diagnostic imaging procedures, including Ultrasound (USG), Color Doppler, X-Ray, and Special Investigations. (Note: Include CT/MRI reporting if your specific center houses these machines).
- Anomalies & Obs-Gyn Scans: Conduct routine, anomaly, and obstetric ultrasounds with a high degree of accuracy.
- Reporting: Deliver precise, comprehensive, and timely diagnostic reports to referring physicians and patients.
- Patient Care & Safety: Ensure patient safety by adhering strictly to radiation safety protocols (AERB guidelines) and maintaining a compassionate environment during procedures.
- Interventional Radiology (Optional): Perform basic image-guided interventions (e.g., FNAC, biopsies, fluid aspirations) if trained and required.
- Collaboration: Coordinate closely with clinical teams, physicians, and surgeons to discuss complex cases and provide diagnostic insights.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper maintenance, calibration, and hygiene of radiology equipment in coordination with technical staff.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education:
- MBBS from a recognized medical college approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- MD in Radiology / DMRD (Diploma in Medical Radio-Diagnosis) / DNB in Radiology.
- Registration: Valid registration with the Uttar Pradesh Medical Council (UPMC) or National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Skills:
- Proficiency in handling advanced ultrasound and color Doppler machines.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and medical staff.
