About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Business Head to lead sales, business growth, and strategic operations for a fast-growing manufacturing organization.
This role is ideal for a leader who has successfully scaled businesses, owned commercial performance, and built long-term customer relationships within industrial B2B markets. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, improving profitability, and leading a high-performing commercial team while working closely with senior leadership.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership
- Develop and execute business growth strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Own the overall commercial performance and business profitability.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth while maintaining healthy margins.
- Lead pricing strategy, customer prioritization, and market expansion initiatives.
Sales & Business Development
- Develop new business opportunities across key industrial sectors.
- Strengthen relationships with existing strategic customers while expanding the customer base.
- Identify new markets and growth opportunities to increase market share.
- Build and manage a structured key account management framework.
Commercial & Operational Excellence
- Ensure alignment between sales commitments and operational capabilities.
- Collaborate with production and planning teams to improve delivery performance.
- Drive Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), demand forecasting, and capacity planning.
- Monitor business performance through sales, profitability, and customer metrics.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial and sales teams.
- Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and high performance.
- Define KRAs, performance goals, and development plans for the team.
Customer & Market Engagement
- Build long-term partnerships with key customers.
- Represent the organization in customer meetings, industry events, and business discussions.
- Strengthen the organization's market presence and brand positioning.
Candidate Profile
We're looking for professionals who possess:
- 10+ years of experience in Industrial B2B Sales or Manufacturing.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven P&L ownership.
- Demonstrated success in driving business growth, revenue, and profitability.
- Experience working with customers in industries such as Steel, Cement, Power, Engineering, or other heavy industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of sales strategy, business development, and commercial negotiations.
- Experience in sales planning, demand forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and team-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgy, Chemical, Ceramics, or related discipline).
- MBA/PGDM is preferred but not mandatory.
Pay: ₹4,000,000.00 per year
