This is a hands-on Senior Software Engineering role focused on building migration tooling and automation frameworks that help enterprise customers migrate from legacy schedulers and automation platforms to RunMyJobs (RMJ) .

Look for an 8+ year Java backend engineer who has built APIs, automation frameworks, and developer tooling , rather than a conventional application developer.
The strongest profiles will combine:
Java + Backend/API + Automation + Migration + AI + Databases + Docker + Testing
with experience working directly with enterprise customers, Professional Services, Solution/Migration Architects, or implementation teams .

Important: Don't restrict sourcing only to candidates with RunMyJobs or scheduler migration experience. That is preferred, not mandatory. A strong Java backend/platform engineer with automation and migration tooling experience can be a good fit.
