Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on HR Executive / Generalist who will manage end-to-end HR operations for our growing manufacturing and sales organization. The role is execution-focused and critical for improving hiring quality, shop floor discipline, compliance, and overall organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Hiring (Top Priority)
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for:
- Sales (IndiaMART / TradeIndia lead handling roles)
- Office staff
- Shop floor operators and helpers
- Source candidates through job portals, references, and local networks
- Screen, schedule, and coordinate interviews
- Ensure quick closure of positions with quality candidates
2. Attendance, Payroll & Leave Management
- Manage daily attendance (biometric/manual)
- Maintain leave and overtime records
- Prepare and process monthly payroll
- Ensure accuracy in salary, deductions, and compliance
3. Labour Law Compliance
- Handle statutory compliance including:
- PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity
- Maintain required registers and documentation
- Coordinate with consultants and handle inspections if required
4. Shop Floor Discipline & Employee Management
- Monitor and control:
- Absenteeism
- Late coming
- Misconduct
- Ensure adherence to company rules and SOPs
- Act as a point of contact for resolving employee issues
5. Employee Engagement & Retention
- Implement simple initiatives to:
- Improve morale
- Reduce attrition
- Organize basic engagement activities and recognition programs
6. HR Documentation & Processes
- Issue:
- Offer letters
- Appointment letters
- Warning letters
- Maintain employee records and files
- Manage onboarding and exit formalities
7. Training & Onboarding
- Conduct induction for new employees
- Support training for:
- Sales team (lead handling, communication)
- Shop floor (basic SOP understanding)
8. Coordination & Administrative Support
- Act as a bridge between management, sales, and production teams
- Support management in implementing policies and decisions
Key Skills Required
- Strong execution and follow-up ability
- Practical knowledge of labour laws (PF, ESIC, etc.)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle shop floor workforce
- Basic knowledge of payroll and attendance systems
- Proactive and problem-solving mindset
Experience & Qualification
- 3–6 years of experience in HR (preferably in manufacturing/MSME setup)
- Graduate (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred but not mandatory)
