Narayana School, Bannerghatta is looking for a passionate and dedicated High School Chemistry Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging lessons, foster scientific thinking, and inspire students to develop a strong foundation in Chemistry through innovative and interactive teaching practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- BE/BTech/ME/MTech graduates in relevant disciplines may also apply.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
- Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in a school setting (high school experience preferred).
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Chemistry lessons for high school students.
- Foster conceptual understanding, scientific inquiry, and analytical thinking.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies, practical demonstrations, and activity-based learning strategies.
- Assess student progress through assignments, projects, practicals, quizzes, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate student records and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Participate actively in school events, faculty meetings, training programs, and professional development initiatives.
- Ensure effective classroom management while maintaining discipline and student safety.
