Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, sambar, chutneys, and traditional curries as per standard recipes.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
- Assist the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene as per food safety standards.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Monitor stock levels and inform seniors about shortages.
- Follow kitchen SOPs and safety guidelines.
- Support in mise en place and preparation for service.
- Ensure timely preparation of food during service hours.
Skills & Requirements:
- Good knowledge of South Indian cuisine.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Attention to detail and consistency in cooking.
