Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Business Development & Digital Marketing Intern to support our lead generation, networking, and digital marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be comfortable interacting with professionals through various channels, and have a keen interest in digital marketing and business development.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and research potential clients through LinkedIn, company websites, and online platforms.
- Build and maintain professional connections through LinkedIn networking.
- Reach out to prospects via LinkedIn messages, emails, and phone calls.
- Follow up with leads and maintain regular communication.
- Qualify leads and update their status in the CRM or lead management sheet.
- Schedule meetings for the Business Development team with prospective clients.
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and follow-ups.
Email & Client Outreach
- Draft and send professional cold emails and follow-up emails.
- Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with prospects to understand their hiring or business requirements.
- Maintain an organized database of leads and communication history.
Digital Marketing
- Assist in creating and scheduling content for LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
- Support email marketing campaigns and lead nurturing activities.
- Research market trends, competitors, and target industries.
- Monitor campaign performance and prepare reports.
- Assist in creating marketing materials, presentations, and promotional content.
- Work on branding and online visibility initiatives.
Reporting & Coordination
- Submit daily and weekly activity reports.
- Coordinate with the Business Development and Marketing teams to achieve targets.
- Maintain data accuracy and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Continuously suggest ideas to improve lead generation and marketing strategies.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional email drafting skills.
- Confidence in making outbound calls.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Basic understanding of LinkedIn Sales Navigator (preferred).
- Knowledge of digital marketing concepts and social media platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and MS Office.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate or pursuing graduation in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
- Freshers are welcome; prior experience in business development, sales or digital marketing is an added advantage.
