Job description:
Key Responsibilities – Medical Oncology
- Diagnose and manage patients with various types of cancers.
- Develop individualized treatment plans including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy.
- Evaluate patient history, laboratory results, imaging, and biopsy reports for treatment planning.
- Administer and supervise systemic cancer therapies safely.
- Monitor treatment response, manage complications, and adjust therapy as required.
- Provide supportive and palliative care to improve quality of life.
- Conduct outpatient and inpatient consultations for oncology patients.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, and side-effect management.
- Provide counselling and emotional support throughout the cancer care journey.
- Ensure continuity of care during treatment cycles and follow-up visits.
- Collaborate with surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and nursing teams.
- Participate in tumor board meetings and multidisciplinary case discussions.
- Coordinate referrals and integrated cancer management plans.
- Monitor chemotherapy toxicity and manage adverse reactions.
- Ensure adherence to treatment protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records.
Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
