Job Title: VMC Machine Operator (2–3 Years Experience)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled VMC Machine Operator with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in operating Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of machine setup, tooling, machining processes, and quality inspection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor VMC machines efficiently and safely.
- Perform machine setup, tool setting, and job changeovers.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Select and install the correct tools, fixtures, and workpieces.
- Set machine offsets and make necessary program adjustments.
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Ensure components meet quality standards and drawing specifications.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean.
- Follow all company safety procedures and production schedules.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a VMC Machine Operator.
- Good knowledge of VMC machine operations, setup, tool setting, and machining processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T is preferred.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality inspection.
- Basic understanding of CNC programs and machine offsets.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
