Compensation Structure
- This is a Commission-Based Internship.
- No Stipend will be provided during the internship period.
- No Fixed Salary will be provided during the internship period.
- Interns will earn performance-based commissions based on research outcomes that contribute to product validation, client acquisition, strategic partnerships, commercial opportunities, or other eligible business outcomes as defined by the company's commission policy.
- Outstanding performers will be considered for full-time employment based on business growth, research contributions, innovation, ownership, and overall performance.

About the Role
We are looking for an AI Research Analyst – Energy & Utilities who is passionate about artificial intelligence, renewable energy, utility operations, sustainability, and digital transformation.
This role is focused on researching operational challenges across the energy and utilities sector and identifying opportunities where AI, automation, and software can improve efficiency, reliability, compliance, and customer experience.
This is not an electrical engineering, field service, or laboratory-based role. Instead, it is a research, product innovation, and AI strategy role where you will work with the founders to build next-generation AI-powered software products for energy companies, utility providers, renewable energy organizations, EPC companies, and industrial operations.
Key Responsibilities1. Energy & Utility Industry Research
- Research electricity generation, transmission, and distribution workflows.
- Study renewable energy ecosystems, including solar, wind, hydro, and battery storage.
- Understand utility company operations and customer service processes.
- Research industrial energy management practices.
- Analyze operational challenges across energy infrastructure.
- Identify opportunities for AI-driven process improvements.
- Study emerging trends in clean energy and sustainability.
2. AI Research & Innovation
- Research AI applications in the energy and utilities sector.
- Identify automation opportunities across utility operations.
- Evaluate Generative AI, Machine Learning, and LLM use cases.
- Explore predictive analytics for operational optimization.
- Research intelligent monitoring and decision-support systems.
- Evaluate emerging technologies such as Digital Twins, IoT, and Smart Grid solutions.
3. Product Research & Validation
- Validate AI product ideas for energy and utility businesses.
- Identify underserved operational challenges.
- Conduct market and competitor research.
- Define product positioning and customer value propositions.
- Research pricing models and commercial feasibility.
- Recommend new AI-powered software solutions.
