Data Operator – IT Team (QSR Operations)Job Summary
The Data Operator is responsible for managing and maintaining POS (Point of Sale) data for Quick Service Restaurant outlets. The role involves accurate data entry, updating menu and pricing in the POS system, generating reports, and supporting the IT team in maintaining operational data across outlets.
Key Responsibilities
1. POS Data Management
- Enter and update menu items, prices, and product details in the POS system.
- Maintain accurate POS data for all outlets.
- Support outlet teams in resolving POS data-related issues.
2. Data Entry & Data Feeding
- Input daily sales data, inventory data, and operational records into the system.
- Maintain records of product codes, item categories, and modifiers.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in data entry.
3. Report Generation
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly POS reports.
- Prepare sales reports and share them with management.
- Assist in analyzing outlet-wise sales data.
4. System Support
- Coordinate with the IT team for POS system updates.
- Assist in troubleshooting basic POS data errors.
- Ensure smooth data synchronization between outlets and the central system.
5. Data Accuracy & Compliance
- Verify data entries to avoid discrepancies.
- Maintain proper documentation of data updates.
- Follow company data security and confidentiality policies.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and data management.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer operations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work with large volumes of data.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum Graduate / Diploma in Computer Applications / IT.
- Certification in Computer Applications or Data Management preferred.
Experience
- 1–3 years experience in data entry, POS operations, or IT support.
- Experience in restaurant, retail, or QSR industry is an added advantage.
Working Conditions
- Office-based role with coordination with multiple restaurant outlets.
- May require working during month-end reporting or system updates.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
