As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role includes managing software releases, ensuring the stability and performance of systems, and adapting features to align with organizational needs. The position requires working with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver seamless solutions while maintaining compatibility across different environments. Collaboration with multiple teams to address challenges and optimize application functionality is a key aspect of daily activities.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Strong knowledge of configuring and customizing sales and distribution modules within enterprise resource planning systems.
- Experience in managing software releases and ensuring system stability in cloud-based or packaged application environments.
- Familiarity with using application programming interfaces and low-code platforms to extend application functionality.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
