Key Responsibilities
- Develop and match shades as per customer standards and approved references.
- Conduct laboratory dyeing trials using various dye classes and fiber types.
- Ensure smooth lab-to-bulk shade transfer with minimum shade variation and right-first-time bulk dyeing performance.
- Monitor production scale-up, troubleshoot shade deviations, and resolve issues related to metamerism, reproducibility, and color consistency.
- Evaluate, test, and approve dyes, chemicals, and auxiliaries for compatibility and performance.
- Maintain records of chemical trials and support cost reduction through process and chemical optimization.
- Conduct water quality analysis including pH, Hardness, TDS, Conductivity, Chloride, Alkalinity, and other relevant parameters.
- Maintain water testing records, trend analysis reports, and ensure water suitability for dyeing processes.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory documentation, SOPs, calibration records, test reports, and buyer audit requirements.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain spectrophotometers and auto-dispensing systems for accurate color measurement and recipe generation.
- Generate color difference reports and perform colorimetric analysis.
- Supervise laboratory operations, technicians, and daily testing activities.
- Investigate and resolve dyeing issues such as shade variation, poor reproducibility, color fastness failures, staining, patchiness, and related quality concerns.
- Provide technical support to production teams during new developments, bulk production, and customer approvals.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
